let me show you the shape of my heart, through my ringtone:

I didn't write a proper blog entry last night. I was just too tired, and just still had too much to do, so I went straight to bed. I intend to write one tonight, because I'm going to DVD bang with Tim and Meghan in a few hours, so I'll have a review to write. Not sure, still, which movie we're seeing.

But I was lying in bed contemplating having a nap while waiting for Tim to call, knowing that what I should be doing is studying Korean, when I started going through the possible ringtones on my phone. And the collection was so eclectic, and so amazing, that I felt a playlist would serve as a complete blog entry, and tell you a lot about my life in Korea so far.

And just to be clear, these are MIDI versions with no vocals, which makes it so much better. Ready?

First is, of course, the typical sound based ones. But then...
1. Sting and the Police "Every Breath You Take"
2. Paul McCartney "Another Day"
3. Sting "Shape of My Heart"
4. Beatles "Love Me Do"
5. Louis Armstrong "Dream a Little Dream"
6. Surface "Shower Me With Your Love"
7. Tal Bachman "She's So High"
8. Village People "Y.M.C.A."
9. Billy Joel "Uptown Girl"
10. The Turtles "Happy Together"
11. "Jingle Bell Rock"
12. Osmonds "Love Me For a Reason"
13. Whitney Houston "Step By Step"
14. Lou Bega "Mambo No. 5"
15. Beach Boys "Surfing USA"
16. Joan Jett "I Love Rock and Roll"
17. Nirvana "Smells Like Teen Spirit"
18. Olivia Newton John "Xanadu"
19. Billy Joel "New York State of Mind"
20. "Besame Mucho"
21. "The Look of Love"
22. Tom Jones "Delilah"
23. Whitney Houston "The Greatest Love of All"

That's pretty awesome. So, no Korean songs? "Super freak" will always remind me of Little Miss Sunshine. Nice. Good choice.
